Other High School Newspapers

  1. What is your favorite newspaper front page? Why? My favorite is The Tiger Print Newspaper
  2. Which paper immediately grabbed your interest? Why? The Harbinger because the photo is shocking and scary.
  3. What is your favorite headline from that newspaper? Why are you interested in it? A Dangerous Drink because I want to know what happened to the student in the stretcher and it's amazing to me that the drink is still in his hand.
  4. How many stories are on the front page of your favorite?  3
  5. What do you notice that all newspaper front pages have in common? Look at design, size of photos, size of story text, etc. They all seem to have a very prominent photo to catch attention, and they have colorful text and pretty fonts.
  6. What are things that vary (or are different) on the front pages of different newspapers? Look at design, size of photos, size of headlines, etc. They all have the title of their newspaper in different places and different sizes, some use photographs of people or nature while others use drawings or cartoons.
  7. Were these similar to what you saw last class when you looked at daily newspapers from around the world? They were a lot different.
