Answer the two questions below, please write at least a paragraph (3-5 sentences):
REMINDER - Some of you are not writing enough here. A single sentence isn't enough. I expect you to expand upon your writing. If you think you have written enough, you haven't, write more. Be sure to answer WHY you think something.
I think an individual should acquire their own health insurance through their employer because people work hard to make money and provide for themselves. I believe it should be something you earn as well. It could be used as an incentive for working because if everyone is given health insurance that isn't fair if some have to pay for it. I think it should be something you work for and get from your employer as a privilege. AND
2. Do you think the government should fund and support individuals who either cannot afford their own insurance or whose employers do not pay for health care? Why?
I think that the government should not fund and support individuals who either cannot afford their own insurance or whose employers do not pay for health care because people don't deserve handouts. There are plenty of people who work so hard for their money, or families, or food, and for health care to just be handed out to people who aren't working as hard, why would people who work, want to keep working? If everyone is allowed handouts, people will slowly stop working hard and the economy would crash!
